Basic Requirements

• Domain must be parked (not currently connected to another site)
• Website and domain must be in the same Squarespace account
• Admin permissions required for both domain and website

Connect Your Domain

1. Open Domains dashboard
2. Click your domain
3. Select Website
4. Click Connect existing websites
5. Choose your target site
6. Click Next and Confirm

Change Domain Connection

1. Access Domains dashboard
2. Select your domain
3. Click Website
4. Choose Change connection
5. Pick new site
6. Confirm changes

Remove Domain Connection

1. Go to Domains dashboard
2. Click domain
3. Select Website
4. Hit Change connection
5. Choose Park this domain
6. Confirm removal

Important Notes

• Billing and permissions remain separate when connecting domains
• Can't link directly to specific pages (but can redirect)
• For subdomains, Squarespace treats them as third-party domains
• Remove all third-party records before reconnecting to Squarespace
