Adding Internal Notes and Managing Order Information in Squarespace
Adding and Managing Order Notes
To add internal notes to your orders for tracking important details and customer interactions:
Adding Notes (Desktop)
- Navigate to Products and Services > Orders
- Select the desired order
- Click the Notes tab
- Enter your note
- Click Save
Adding Notes (Mobile App)
- Press Orders
- Select the order
- Tap Internal Notes
- Press Add a Note (+)
- Enter note details
- Press Save (✓)
Important Information:
- Notes are private and visible only to site owners, administrators, and shop managers
- Notes don't appear on printed orders or customer notifications
- Cannot modify notes once saved
- Each note displays date, time, and contributor
Deleting Notes
Desktop:
- Hover over the note in the Notes tab
- Click the trash can icon
iOS App:
- Press Seller Notes > Edit
- Tap delete symbol
- Confirm deletion
Android App:
- Press Internal Notes
- Swipe left on note
- Press Delete to confirm
