Restock waitlists effectively notify customers when sold-out products become available again. This feature helps maintain customer engagement and maximize sales opportunities.

Setting Up Waitlists:

  1. Open the Waitlists panel
  2. Enable "Allow waitlist sign-ups"
  3. Customize sign-up text (optional)
  4. Enable mailing list integration (optional)

Important Notes:

  • Waitlists appear only on Product Information pages
  • Only visible when a sold-out variant is selected
  • Cannot be limited to specific products
  • "Sold Out" labels won't appear in variant drop-down menus

Managing Waitlists:

  • View sign-ups and email addresses in the Waitlists panel
  • Track stock status in Out of Stock and In Stock tabs
  • Send notification emails when products are restocked
  • Waitlists are automatically removed after emails are sent

Customization Options:

  • Edit email subject lines, titles, and body text
  • Modify product information
  • Customize Add to Cart button text
  • Control mailing list integration

To disable waitlists, simply toggle off "Allow waitlist sign-ups" in the Waitlists panel. Note that existing waitlists will be preserved and reappear if the feature is re-enabled.
